今年の Finland Fest は、フィンランドだけにとどまらず北欧全体を押し上げる新たな試み。名称も“Loud & Metal Attack supported by Finland Fest”として開催されます。

Nightwish の新章は今日で終わりました。Nightwish と Anette Olzon は、別々の道を歩むことを決意しました。これは関連するすべての人たちのため、互いの理解の元での決断です。

ここしばらくの間、バンド内の方向性や要求が衝突しているのが明らかになってきていました。そして回復不能な溝にまでなってしまいました。

Nightwish は、どのショーもキャンセルしません。その証拠に2012年10月1日に行われたシアトルのショーでは代役を立てます。彼女はオランダ生まれの Floor Jansen。元 After Forever、現在は ReVamp のボーカリストです。我々の Imaginaerum ワールド・ツアーを手助けするため、華麗に登場してくれます。

この旅に対して、この魂の乗り物に対して、我々は激烈に身を投じています。きっと誰にとっても明るい未来に繋がると信じているからです。

この先いつであっても目の前の冒険に興奮してやまないことでしょう。共に作り上げた美しい2枚のアルバムを、共に分かち合った素晴らしいショーを、我々は心から誇りに思っています。

Another chapter of the Nightwish story has ended today. Nightwish and Anette Olzon have decided to part company, in mutual understanding, for the good of all parties involved.

In recent times it has become increasingly obvious that the direction and the needs of the band were in conflict, and this has led to a division from which we cannot recover.

Nightwish has no intention of cancelling any upcoming shows, and as a result we have decided to bring in a substitute vocalist starting in Seattle 1.10.2012. Her name is Floor Jansen from The Netherlands (ex-After Forever, ReVamp), and she has graciously stepped in to help us complete the Imaginaerum world tour.

We are all strongly committed to this journey, this vehicle of spirit, and we are sure that this will lead to a brighter future for everyone.

We forever remain excited about the adventures to come, and we are extremely proud of the two beautiful albums and the wonderful shows we shared together.

ご無沙汰しています。久しぶりの更新は“The Heart Asks Pleasure First 『楽しみを希う心』”の歌詞と対訳です。

歌詞 – The Heart Asks Pleasure First

この「歌」は、Michael Nyman（マイケル・ナイマン）が映画“The Piano『ピアノ・レッスン』”の為に書いたピアノ曲に、Tuomasが独自に詞を付けたものです。作曲者の意向で発表が危ぶまれていましたが、無事にシングル“The Crow, The Owl And The Dove”のカップリング収録されました。

現在 Nightwish は夏フェスをツアー中。秋以降は北米から南米へと回ります。11月には映画“Imaginarum”が公開予定。その後もツアーは続く予定ですが、さて、日本へは……？

2004年2月15日以来、 Nightwish 関連情報の提供など活動してきた弊サイトですが、本日をもちましてニュース掲載等の定期的な活動を終了いたします。
